About Our Executive Vice President, Sales

Christian Ruiz leads Spectrum’s residential sales efforts across its 41-state footprint. As Executive Vice President, Sales, he drives strategic direction and leads the execution across Spectrum’s full range of sales channels, including Digital, Affiliate Partnerships, Spectrum Stores, Direct Sales, Customer Solutions, as well as Inbound and Outbound call centers.

Christian leads the successful sales strategy of Spectrum One, the Company’s industry-leading converged connectivity package, and the next generation of video with Xumo Stream Box, Spectrum’s go-to-market video platform, to both new and existing customers. The sales strategy for Spectrum Mobile, with focus on the exceptional value it provides, has been instrumental to the Company becoming the Nation’s fastest-growing mobile provider following its 2018 launch.

Christian joined Spectrum in 2014 as Regional Vice President, Commercial Sales, and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales & Customer Solutions before stepping into his current position in 2022.

Christian’s Early Career

Prior to joining Spectrum, Christian Ruiz served as Senior Vice President of Customer Service at Cablevision (currently part of Altice USA), where he was instrumental in driving the strategic vision for all contact centers and leading a customer service transformation. This transformation unified customer service quality standards and implemented customer-focused initiatives across the operating divisions. Earlier in his career, he served as General Manager, leading sales and service teams at AT&T and T-Mobile USA. He was responsible for all facets of customer operations for multiple contact centers in California and Texas.

Christian has been named to the Cablefax Diversity List for five consecutive years and was honored as a Cablefax most influential multi-ethnic executive. Christian actively supports and served on the Board of Directors of UnidosUS.

Christian received his bachelor’s degree in economics from University Inca Garcilaso de la Vega in Lima, Peru, and attended CTAM Executive Management Program at Harvard University.

Rohan Kumar currently serves as Senior Vice President, Digital Sales | Operations.

Transformation has defined his time here. Since overseeing Residential Digital Marketing and Sales in his earliest days, he’s continually expanded his responsibilities and embraced new challenges.

The results speak for themselves. During his tenure, Rohan helped establish online sales as a significant sales driver; integrated websites, buyflows and digital marketing after our 2016 transactions; launched online Mobile ordering; and introduced buyflows for several agent channels.

Before coming to Charter, Rohan served as senior vice president, strategic partnerships, and general manager, managed platform and media, with Trueffect. His early career included a series of progressive marketing roles with companies like AdShuffle and One Technologies.

A recipient of NAMIC’s prestigious Next Generation Leader Award, Rohan graduated from the industry organization’s Executive Leadership Development Program as well as the CTAM Executive Management program at Harvard Business School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in financial planning from Texas Tech University.
